Here are some common questions we get asked about our properties:

 

Q: Why should I rent to Forseti Homes?

A: Forseti Homes pay you directly, regularly and on time

  • Regardless of the property’s occupancy, we will pay you rent

  • The rental agreement is often renewed, so you get a long term occupancy in time

  • Forseti Homes takes care of all the maintenance and repair issues. Only issues which are referred to the landlord are the ones which you are responsible for

  • We help all tenants adhere to the terms and conditions of their tenancy

  • Forseti Homes will return the property to you in the same condition it was at the beginning of the agreement. Although this does not include fair wear and tear obviously

Q: What type of property is suitable?

A: The majority of our houses and flats are of good quality and amenity driven locations to provide tenants with services close by. There are exceptions of course. Please get in touch to discuss. Self contained units as well as shared housing is available in clusters and singularly. Our locations will vary dependant on demand as well as supply in a given local authority and on specific discussions with partners

Forseti Homes also works with landlords who want to buy or develop a property or properties for us to manage

Q: How does it all work?

A: Forseti Homes will require the following specifics on properties::

  • Desired rent

  • Floorplan

  • Desired lease length.

We will then view the property or portfolio of properties to ensure that they are suitable for our portfolio of homes. This not only requires Forseti Homes to view the building, but also the prospective tenants and any partners who will be involved e.g. local authority, care provider if any. The process is streamlined and efficient. We will then simply look to agree a lease with the property owner

Typically, our leases run for five years to begin with coupled with an option to renew assuming the terms have been met throughout the duration of the agreement. Our model is flexible so we will try and accommodate requests from the landlord when we can with the interests of the tenant as paramount always

Q: How will I receive rent?

A: Forseti Homes will pay you the rent on a 4 weekly basis typically into your chosen bank account. This will be paid via standing order, so you will always receive it on the due date. each month, unless it falls on a weekend or bank holiday, in which case it will be the next business day available. Forseti Homes will collect the rent, in turn, from the tenants who are typically in receipt of housing benefit or some form of assistance
